Velvet is an app that will allow users to create recipes based solely on the ingredients in their fridge using vision inspection

Conception

The project started off with a way to improve the lives of students. Often it is hard to create recipes based on what you have left over...So why not have an app do it for you?

Drafts

Various design conceptions were created to finally get the perfect look. Hours of programming allowed the team to create an app we are proud of.

Presentation

The application was presented and demoed to a University of Waterloo Computer Science Alumni. Velvet won the award of Best Application out of 6 other groups.
